Madhur Matka is a famous character of Indian movie industry and
Tollywood. She is played by Prem Chopra. A young lady, Madhumur originally from
the state of Orissa, has a troubled past. She is seen as an opportunist who plans
her ways ahead before anything else. She is obsessed with beauty and looks and
wants to become a star in cinema. To achieve this she consults several satta
(corporations) which promise great wealth.
Soon Madhur Matka becomes a part of these corporations' main
Mumbai Ratan and starts planning her film career. But when she realizes that
the offer which she receives is too good to refuse, she gets into a fierce
competition with another young lady, Sari. The competition between the two is
so intense that Sari manages to win the heart of Madhur. This actress manages
to enter into the main Mumbai ratan at the beginning of Madhur Matka. Sari's
father wants her to be a part of his daughter's film, but Madhur refuses.
Later, when her father dies Madhur decides to enter the film
industry. She is joined by another girl called Sherida. Both of them manage to
get along with ease. In order to make more money, madhur makes a deal with the
Godfather of the land and goes to Bollywood.
When she returns home, Sari suspects that Madhur has been made a
fool and tries to find out what happened. She goes to the location where she
believes Madurry is staying and finds her lying on a bed. She suspects that she
is already married to someone and goes inside to ask for the truth. She finally
gets to meet her father and learns that Mad hur is not her real father. Her
father tells her that he wants her to start her own film. Sari is very much
against this and wants to return to her old life but her best friend Narayan
comes to her rescue and convinces her to go ahead.
After this, Sari finally gets to meet her old friend and they
decide to start her career in Bollywood together. However, things do not go
according to plan and their relationship sours. On the other hand, Rajdhani manages
to get Madurized out of the house and then she starts to attend the rehearsals
for the production of her latest film 'madhur matka result'.
On the 1st of October, a week after the completion of sate, Sari
and Rajdhani go on a long drive to Pune. While on this drive, they meet up with
Ajit and invite him to their wedding. They are very happy as their friends
arrange for them to have an open draw at a restaurant. On the day of the open
draw, Madhur bar opens and the movie begins. On the end of the movie, it is
revealed that Madhur bazaar has really been set up on the exact same location
as the original Madhur bazar.
